Backplate (converts to non pull start)

Convert your AE .15 pull start engine into non pull start with this new backplate. No need to purchase a new engine! Includes fully-illustrated instructions to complete the conversion. CAUTION: REQUIRES CRITICAL MODIFICATION OF CRANKSHAFT! This backplate requires more parts to complete the conversion.

Tools Needed

• 5/64 in (2 mm) Allen wrench
• Small flat head screwdriver
• Lightweight oil
• Needlenose pliers
• Dremel® and fiberglass wheel
• Ruler
• 400 grit sandpaper
• Engine cleaner

• #7770 non pull start engine mount adapters
• #7610 non pull start flywheel
• #7736 non pull start manifold
• #6928 manifold screws
• #7734 manifold gasket

Fits engines #2900, 2912, 2916, and 2918.
